Easy Crock Pot Roast
If you are a busy mom or just don't like turning on the stove in the summer time this is an easy recipe my friend shared with me!
2 lbs. rump roast
2 lbs. rump roast
1 can Yuengling
1 can beef broth
1 pack of Lipton dry onion soup mix
Cooked on low about 7 hours. At it on hoagy rolls, with provolone or cheddar cheese and used the juice to dip the sandwiches.
Group additions:
Mushrooms
Onions and peppers
Horseradish
You can use bud light or sprite instead of yuenling
Toast the buns

Crock Pot Healthy Bar-B-Q chicken (with pics this time!)
***Some of these were taken from other recipes and modified to fit my family
tastes.***
*Healthy Mama Barbecue Chicken
*3 medium unpeeled sweet potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1 zucchini, chopped
1 medium onion, sliced ( I used dried chopped onion)

1 tablespoon quick cooking tapioca
2 pounds chicken thighs or drumsticks
1 8-ounce can of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard (I wasn't sure if this meant actual mustard or
the spice so I did a little of both)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 pounds chicken thighs or drumsticks
1 8-ounce can of tomato sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon yellow mustard (I wasn't sure if this meant actual mustard or
the spice so I did a little of both)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
***2 large green pepper, cut into strips
***1 large red pepper, cut into strips
***1 large red pepper, cut into strips
Dump everything into two gallon freezer bags, shake it up, seal, label and
put in the freezer.

Slow Cooker Swiss Steak by Ann Road Meal
[Fresh Ingredients to keep in fridge]
1 lb Baby carrots
1 lb Baby carrots
Combine following items into a gallon sized bag and freeze:
1 1/2 lbs Swiss Steak, cut into serving size pieces
1 package Onion soup mix
8 oz Tomato sauce
1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 lbs Swiss Steak, cut into serving size pieces

[Instruction]
Put carrots in bottom of slow cooker. Place meat on top of carrots. Mix
together soup, seasoning, tomato sauce and water. Pour over meat. Cook 8-10
hours on low heat. If frozen, increase cooking time, or thaw before cooking.

Apricot Chicken by Candice (Nellis Manor Swap)
8 chicken breasts
8 oz russian dressing
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 cup apricot jam
Cube chicken and combine with rest of ingredients. spray bottom of 9 x 13 pan, bake @ 350 for 1 hour. serve over rice. I also cook mine in the crockpot for 3-4 hour. Serve over warm rice.
